About the Event

Medical affairs teams are sitting on some of the most valuable assets in the organization. They have the KOL relationships, the scientific credibility, the congress presence. And still, most of the engagement data never gets captured. The follow-up never happens. The insight dies in a notebook.

This evening is for medical affairs professionals who want to change that.

Co-hosted by Onomi and Shyft, it’s a working session built around a simple observation: medical is leaving a lot on the table. The tools and the ownership model haven’t caught up to the opportunity yet.

This is an invite-only event. No vendor pitches. Just peers working through a question most medical teams are sitting with right now: where does AI actually fit in our work, and where do we start?

What You Will Experience

The Potential of Medical Affairs

Presented by Philip Vyt

You have the KOL relationships, the scientific depth, the congress presence. The question is how much of it is actually working for you. Before the session, you’ll complete a short maturity assessment and at the meeting, you’ll see exactly where your peers stand and what the teams pulling ahead are doing differently.

Congress: Your Highest-leverage Move

Presented by Pierre Metrailler

Congress is where we’re starting. It’s the highest-density, easiest-to-measure entry point: one congress generates 40+ structured data points you can act on immediately. The same approach: “capture, structure, activate,” is what MSLs can apply to call notes and insight logs, and what regional teams can apply to KOL mapping. We’re building the sharpest version of it live, because a working example beats a slide about “AI for medical affairs.”
Peer-to-peer Exchange

Med affairs leaders from four global pharma companies

A panel of medical affairs leaders sharing honest stories: what moved the needle, what didn’t, and how they made the case internally for doing things differently.

The AI Lab: Build Your Own Agent

Led by Pierre Metrailler and Philip Vyt

Bring your laptop. We’ll build a congress follow-up agent in Copilot from scratch as a low-effort, high-value workflow your team can run the week after.

Networking Drinks

The sessions will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles with fellow pharma peers from the Zürich and Basel region.

Who Should Attend

This event is for medical affairs professionals asking where AI fits in their day-to-day work. Whether you’re thinking about MSL productivity, insights workflows, or larger initiatives at country or regional level, this session is built around that.

For global and regional medical leads: A working model for scaling AI beyond one team.

For MSL leaders: A template for turning field notes into structured insight.

For medical engagement managers and omnichannel professionals: The CRM-integrated version of all of it.
